What a day!

Phew! I am beat.
I started my first day of work experience today. I was kind of nervous to begin with, because I missed a bus. I was just thinking to myself, Oh "enter lots of swearwords here", I'm going to be sooooo late... but I wasn't. I got there in good time, despite me walking fast.
I was introduced to different teachers (I went to a school, if you didn't know), and they were really friendly. Then I went to go and see the kids I would be working with, and they were lovely. They made me feel really confident and asked me lots of questions. We went into the classroom and I helped them on their research on rainforests and stuff. It was really fun.
After playtime (god, I miss playtime at school), we went to the pond and looked at insects. It was really hot and I got a mild attack of bloody hayfever, but I was alright and we had a drink when we got back. Then we had lunch, and I took refuge int he classroom because it was cool and quiet, and I had a headache so I needed a bit of time to sit and write about stuff I had done.
After lunch, we were divided into groups and some of the class (including me) went into the class next door to help out with making masks for people to wear for the play they were doing in a few weeks. It was really fun and we mucked about with the paint and stuff. I felt like I was a little kid again.
We went back to our normal classroom and talked about what we did and I cleaned myself up (I had paint all down my arm!). Then we went to the hall to practice the songs they were signing for the play. They were so enthusiastic!
Then they got ready to go home and thanked me and a few people gave me hugs and stuff. It was so sweet; I had to stop myself from crying!

Honestly, I am so looking forward to tomorrow. I can't wait!
I have a million and one things to do before the day is out, so I'll end this.
Until next time,
Rosie

1st post! ^^

Hiya.
I'm Rosie. But you would have guessed that from my name.
So yeah, I'm new. The new kid, heh. Basically, I have no idea what I'm doing, so if you're feeling nice, perhaps you could explain to me what this thing's all about. I really have no idea.

But, moving on, I thought I should introduce myself. So, here goes...

I'm Rosie. Oh wait, I told you that. I am terrible at these. Ummm....I'm 14 years old and I live in England, and I love it there. Okay, so it rains a lot and English people are the best complainers in the world, but it's a really great place; it's really uniquie. Honestly, there is nothing on Earth quite like England.
To cut a long story short, I like any type of music you can throw at me and I like pretty much every film I have ever seen, with the exception of Land Of Narnia (it totally killed the book. The books are fantastic. If you've never read them, I suggest you do. Immediately.) and any really gory horror movies I have been forced/dared to watch. I am a squeamish person.
But that doens't make me a wimp. If you know me, you know that I like to let my voice be heard and I'm not afraid to make my opinion known. I also do not tolerate rudeness, insults or downright nastiness. If someone says something I don't like, I'll let them know about it.
Personality wise, I'd say I'm a pretty easy-going type of girl. I'm a good listener (or so I'm told), I'm good at giving advice and helping people (again, so I'm told) and I pretty relaxed. Having said that, I do get wound up easily, so try not to get on my wrong side.

Well, I would write more, but I'm getting bored XD If you're at all interested, don't hesitate to get in touch. We can have a good chat :]
Until next time,
Rosie
